Introduction

How do, my name is Anthony Pullin and I have dedicated my time on Earth to learning, understanding and practicing the ancient art of Tattooing.
I am a working Tattooer(Tattooist, Tattoo Artist, Scab Lord, Needle Jockey, Ink Slinger etc) based in the border city of Carlisle, Cumbria where I live with my wife and 6 cats (Crumble, Rhubarbara, Snacks, Macaroni, Sushi and Mitsuki).

I mainly work in Neo traditional, Traditional and Japanese styles with an emphasis on hand drawn, custom work that can stand the test of time as well as being visually pleasing.

I believe being prepared is fundamental when making good tattoos, consistently. I set aside Monday’s as a design day and also come into my private studio, Seventh Sword, early to finish anything up, familiarise myself with the day’s job and to clean and set up my station.
I enjoy the designing, drawing and painting side of tattooing as much as tattooing itself and I often have paintings and prints for sale at a reasonable cost. (please see the shop/store).

Most of my time is committed to tattooing and painting, but being hunched over indoors isn’t good for the spine or mind. So by some sort of cosmic balance, or some other interfering invisible force, my other life long passion is Motocross. Or any kind of bikes on dirt really!

Pricing

Irezumi, or any large scale work, is tattooed in “sessions”. The session length is whatever you are comfortable sitting and is charged by the hour. A 4 hour session would be £320.

A Full Day Session is a flat rate of £400 and spans 6 hours. Making the last hour of the session essentially free. This is to reward a longer session as it means we have to book less slots in the diary.
This is how I keep my books permanently open and can accommodate new clients as well as my current clients.

A Short Day session is £300 for 4 hours. This is for those that would prefer shorter session with more frequency, prefer not to sit for 6 hours, or haven’t the budget for the full day. The cost of living is rising, and the cost of tattooing rising, and as people reassess their budget, the price of a day session could end up becoming too expensive. I’m hoping the shorter session can be an option for people looking to continue with their tattoo projects with no loss of quality.

“One Hitters” are tattoos finished in one session and are priced based on the design. Size and detail both affect the price;
For example a Rose roughly 5”x4” (palm size) would be £160
or for a bigger Rose roughly 8” x 5” (hand size) it would be £250.
This isn’t to say that you can’t book a full day and get as many “Neotrad” or “Trad” “One Hitters” as you can in the day. I like to work that way and it’s another way to keep the cost down overall.
